Getting in Touch with Proxy Sock

Proxy Sock is a small, independent blog about sport and popular culture. Our pieces range from basketball history and the NFL draft to baseball comebacks, figure skating and long-running television sitcoms. Because the site is run on a modest scale, we value every message we receive from readers, and this page explains the kinds of messages we welcome and how to make yours as useful as possible.

What you can write to us about

• Corrections: If you spot a factual error, a wrong statistic or a misspelled name in one of our articles, please tell us. Include the title of the article and, if possible, a reliable source so we can check and update it.
• Feedback on articles: Agree or disagree with a take, such as our look at how Kareem saw Magic as the missing piece for the Lakers? We enjoy hearing different perspectives from fans.
• Topic suggestions: Is there a player, coach, season or show you would like us to cover? Suggestions help shape what we write next.
• General questions: Anything else about the site, its content or how we work.

Tips for a helpful message

Be specific about which page you are referring to, keep your message clear and concise, and let us know if you would prefer not to be named should we mention your suggestion. We read messages as time allows, so replies may not always be immediate.

Please note that Proxy Sock is an independent fan site. We are not affiliated with any league, team, broadcaster or athlete, and we cannot help with tickets, merchandise or official enquiries. For those, contact the organisation concerned directly. In the meantime, you can browse all of our latest writing on the blogs page.
